The headquarters of the company  B.T. Innovations is a thoughtfully designed building by architect Ralf Niebergall. Yellow pigments were used for concrete coloration giving the precast elements a warm sandstone tone.

Light transmitting concrete (LTC) is an innovative construction material which transmits light through the concrete.
Colorful architecture by day and night – this is made possible with Light Transmitting Concrete. By means of thousands of fine, embedded light-conducting fibers, translucent concrete transports the light from a natural or artificial light source through any thickness of building component. The translucent concrete elements on facades, furniture, walls or floors thus begin to glow and radiate fascinatingly from within.
A supplier of light transmitting concrete is LUCEM GmbH. Its light transmitting concrete is based on the interaction of three main components: concrete, fibers and light. The principle: special glass fibers are embedded in the concrete. When artificial or natural light hits the fibers, light is transmitted through the concrete – making it shine in the dark. During the day, the additional coloring of the translucent concrete with Bayferrox pigments can give an unique look.
